At Habitat for Humanity of NWA, we build strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable homeownership. Since 1991, we've built 147 homes (and counting) in Northwest Arkansas.

José Hernandez, a top-producing mortgage lender since 2004, serves on the Habitat board. Fluent in Spanish, he is dedicated to supporting families in achieving homeownership and financial stability.

K. Catherine (“KC”) Roney

Senior Director of ESG Strategy at Walmart

 

KC has previously served as Senior Director of Programs at Habitat  Philadelphia, leading program strategy and advanced affordable homeownership initiatives. She brings organizational knowledge and firsthand Habitat experience to support Habitat NWA’s mission locally.

Ashley Wheeler, CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Arkansas, grew up in a Habitat home in Fayetteville and is passionate about giving back to the organization. With a background in mortgage lending, she and her husband have called Northwest Arkansas home for over 30 years, raising their five children in Fayetteville.
